Auto-registration plugins

Auto-registration plugins automatically adjust an employee’s worked time based on their check-in/out attendance and predefined rules. Each plugin has its own behaviour and configuration options.

How auto-registration works

After an employee clocks in and out, the system reconciles their day against the auto-registration plugins on their work time policy:

  1. Deduction-style plugins (e.g. Lunch Deduction) run first and register unpaid time such as a lunch break.
  2. Fill-style plugins (e.g. Default Activity Fill) run last and register the remaining unregistered attendance onto an activity, so the day’s worked total matches the time on premises.

Auto-registered entries appear as ordinary timesheet cells. An employee can change or remove them; a removed entry can be restored from its cell (see the timesheet). A manual entry on the same activity always overrides the automatic one.

Multiple plugins can be combined on a single policy — for example, a Lunch Deduction plus a Default Activity Fill.
