Weekend

The Weekend filter keeps work performed on Saturday or Sunday. It is a shortcut for the Day of Week filter with both weekend days ticked.

When to use

• Paying a flat weekend supplement that runs all day Saturday and Sunday.
• Combining with a Time Interval or Time Interval Overlap filter to narrow the weekend window further.

If you need a specific bridge between Friday evening and Monday morning (typical of Danish public-sector agreements), use the dedicated Danish Weekend Supplement filter instead — it already handles the Sat-14:00-to-Mon-06:00 window and the half-shift rule.

This filter takes no configuration.

How it works

The filter splits every input range by calendar day and keeps only the days whose weekday is Saturday or Sunday. A shift that crosses midnight is split — the weekend portion survives, the weekday portion is dropped.
