Data export
Back up your workspace or transfer its configuration to another environment.
Overview
Exports produce a single ZIP file you can download, archive, or feed into a data import — either in the same workspace (to roll back) or in another workspace (to migrate or to seed a new environment with a known configuration).
You can export everything, or limit the scope to configuration only — useful when you want to share a workspace’s setup without sharing employee data.
Creating an export
- Go to
- Choose the scope:
- All — the complete workspace: configuration, employees, time events, balances, and projections
- Configuration only — workspace settings, org units, employment terms, activities, time accounts, policies, and holiday calendars (no employee data)
- Click Export
- The export runs as a background job. When it finishes, download the ZIP file from the list
