Former employee cleanup
Takes people who have left out of every availability that names them.
How it works
An availability can name specific people — on activities, reasons, advisories, holiday calendars and policies — either to include them or as an exception. Once someone has left, naming them no longer means anything, and the editors already hide them.
Each night the job finds every activity, reason, advisory, holiday calendar and policy whose availability names an employee whose status is Inactive, and saves it again without them, as if an administrator had removed them. A policy or holiday calendar gets a new version in its history, applied from today. Employees whose rehire is planned (Pending) keep their place.
When it runs
Daily. It only triggers when an availability still names someone who has left. The employment status is refreshed in the same nightly batch, so a person is removed the night after their status changes to Inactive.
